Professional Services
(I)-Program Management
CM2 provides program management services applied to
capital process and comprehensive services including
managing, and coordinating all design, procurement,
and construction activities.
(II)-Construction Management
CM2 specializes in providing construction management
professional service. CM2 applies effective
management techniques to the planning, design, and
construction of a project from inception to
completion for the purpose of controlling time,
cost, and quality.
(II)-Other Specialized Services
CM2 provides several specialized project management
services according to the needs of construction
consultants, developers and owners. The following
services or variations thereof could be tailored to
our clients needs.
Budgeting, estimation, cost control and management
We provide cost estimation, budgeting, cost
accounting, cost reporting and the
preparation/negotiation of variation orders.
Detailed estimates of various cost elements are
analyzed for each line item of construction and are
used to monitor cost and the evaluation of variation
order submittals.
Planning, scheduling, schedule control and
management
CM2 offers planning and scheduling (schedule
management) of construction projects. Resource
loaded schedules, financing, materials, plant,
equipment, manpower, technical submittals, workshops
drawings and approvals are used as an important
management tool towards the control of project
delivery.
Value
Engineering
We may provide continuous review and refinement of
design and documentation in any full-fledged
construction management assignment. However, this
service is also offered to clients independently.
Such a service is preformed in a structured manner
where project elements are examined from function
and cost points of view. This service is different
from cost reduction exercises. We appoint certified
value engineers to conduct this service.
Oversight Project Management
CM2 provides OPM as an independent analysis of
project management systems. This audit service is
tailored to the specific requirement of our
clientele.
We examine organization, performance, schedule,
expenditure, project accounting, variations, and the
contractor’s relations with his subcontractors. All
this effort is to ensure that the project does not
go astray and that lending agencies and funding
institutions will be repaid their monies.
Owner
Representative
CM2 assumes the owner’s representative role to deal
with consultants and contractors as an extension of
the owner’s organization. We take this role on any
type of project delivery system. We undertake to
represent the owner’s interests on all technical,
contractual and administrative aspects. We normally
revert to the owner on important issues that require
a decision by the board of directors of the owners
firm.
Claims
preparation, review and defense
CM2 professionals provide advice to owners and
contractors on preparation of factual and proper
requests for cost and time adjustments. We have
provided this service to project owners like Zara
holding company and Cairo Amman Bank.
Arbitration
Clients with the need for arbitration services
resort to CM2 for such a service. We generally
provide this service to our clients during the
progress of design and construction works.
Nevertheless, this is also offered as an independent
stand-alone service.
